Application and Website Development While there may be good reason to choose an off-the shelf solution, business requirements vary and sometimes a tailored or bespoke development will fit better. This way you can have a database or management system built exactly the way you want it , with menus, buttons, reports, screen colours and logos of your choice. More importantly you can have it dsigned to fir around the way your business is run rather than re-think your business processes so that they fall in line with how the new system works. We can design and build both simple databases for the small business, that reside on a single machine to be used by one or two users as well as larger databases that can be shared by more users. We can also provide database solutions using " thin-client type" technolgy which allow the use of a browser interface running on a low spec workstation or on a PDA/Handheld device. This gives maximum flexibility and convenience in terms of being to able to access business information from anywhere. We always insist on a written specification at the start of the project and all costs - including any training or ongoing support you may need - are discussed upfront. This reduces the risks normally associated with software development projects. We also make sure we are not adding features simply because we can or looks impressive (to us). Unnecessary complexity is a blight of the industry and we pride ourselves in keeping our systems simple and only adding features that our clients expressly ask for and agree to. Leasing, as opposed to buying, is now the best way to have access to the hardware and software you need in your business. You can lease a laptop or desktop computer, server, router, printer, storage device, etc. You can also add any software you need (such s MS Office). Just it would be foolish to buy your next 3 years worth of electricity up front, just to have the pleasure of "owning" it, owning a computer does not bring any additional benefit.
